Frequently Asked Questions
Is AlliTech vegan-friendly?
Yes. AlliTech is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
What’s the difference between AlliTech Spray and AlliTech AloeGel?
AlliTech Spray is AlliTech Liquid in a convenient spray bottle. It can be used orally as well as topically, for minor ailments like eye, ear and throat infections. AlliTech AloeGel has a different consistency (and ingredients), and is designed to be used externally, applied directly onto skin problems such as wounds and viral infections.
Can I use AlliTech AloeGel to treat severe wounds?
For severe antibiotic-resistant wounds and skin infections in adults and children over the age of seven, we recommend applying AlliTech AloeGel directly to the affected area, in addition to a course of two bottles of AlliTech Liquid (2 x 5 ml teaspoon twice a day) followed by a single AlliTech Capsule 60 x 450 mg taken twice a day until finished.
Where should I store my AlliTech AloeGel 100 ml?
AlliTech AloeGel 100 ml should be stored in the fridge.
What is the difference between using AlliTech AloeGel, and raw garlic?
As allicin is chemically unstable in its raw form, your body may absorb very little of it from raw garlic. AlliTech AloeGel contains 100% stabilised pure allicin extract, meaning its properties won’t be affected by heat, light, and other external factors.
Is AlliTech the same as a garlic supplement?
There are many health benefits to taking garlic, but because of the reasons stated above, very few of the garlic supplements on the market contain allicin, and most of those that do are unstable. If you prefer to take allicin in capsule form, look for a stabilised option, like our AlliTech capsules.
Why Is Allicin Considered a Natural Antibiotic?
Allicin is known as nature’s antibiotic because of its ability to kill or inhibit bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites. It acts quickly and broadly without allowing pathogens to build resistance, unlike many synthetic antibiotics.
Can AlliTech Help with Oral Thrush and Other Fungal Infections?
Yes, AlliTech’s antifungal properties can help support the management of fungal infections like oral thrush, athlete’s foot and fungal nails. The spray is particularly useful for oral and throat application, while the gel works well on skin.
Can AlliTech Help with SIBO?
Yes. Allicin’s antimicrobial and antibacterial properties act effectively to treat SIBO and reduce bacterial overgrowth in the small intestine. AlliTech contains no fructo-oligosaccharides and is stabilised, making it one of the best available allicin supplements for SIBO.
How often should I apply AlliTech Aloe Gel to my skin?
Apply to the affected area at least three times a day. Wash hands before and after the use of AlliTech AloeGel.
Can AlliTech Support the Body’s Defence Against Parasites?
Yes, AlliTech may help support the body’s natural defences against parasites thanks to its antimicrobial properties. However, it should not replace medical treatment for serious or persistent infections.

Description

Natural defence for the skin

With over 17 amino acids, at least 33 sulphur compounds, eight minerals, and vitamins A, B, and C, garlic is truly one of nature’s superfoods. But it also has another secret weapon that we don’t always benefit from. Have you ever noticed the pungent smell you get when garlic is cut or crushed? It’s the result of an interesting chemical reaction. When garlic cells are damaged, the normally separate enzyme, alliinase, and the amino acid, alliin, come into contact to create a volatile sulphur compound called allicin.

Allicin exists as garlic’s natural defence mechanism against microbes in the soil, thanks to its ability to inhibit bacteria and fungi reproduction. Like humans, plants are susceptible to viruses, parasites, and infections, and sometimes require immune support.

But the problem is, Allicin is naturally unstable.

When exposed to heat and light, it starts to break down, and when it reaches the stomach, it is irreversibly destroyed by the acidic environment. This means the body cannot fully benefit from allicin’s remarkable properties (in its raw form).

That’s why Allisure®, the key ingredient in AlliTech, was developed. This purified allicin extract is 100% stabilised by a patented process; preserving its structure so the body can benefit from its impressive properties, which are normally lost in the process of cooking, preparation, and digestion.

Key Benefits

The soothing power of Aloe Vera

Alongside Allicin, Aloe Vera is included for its renowned skin-soothing, hydrating, and regenerative properties. Aloe Vera helps calm irritation, supports skin repair, and provides gentle moisturisation without greasiness, making AlliTech AloeGel ideal for sensitive or damaged skin.

Easy application for open wounds and skin infections

AlliTech AloeGel 100 ml is a powerful allicin extract containing 100% stabilised Allisure® allicin. Its gel consistency makes it a useful product to have on hand when out and about, or in your First Aid Kit. AlliTech AloeGel can be used topically, and in conjunction with other products from our AlliTech range. You can read some of the research here:

Allicin for oral thrush treatment

AlliTech’s natural antifungal properties can be used to effectively treat oral thrush by inhibiting the growth and reproduction of Candida. To combat your oral thrush, we’d recommend a combination of AlliTech 450 mg capsules, AlliTech Spray, and AlliTech 100 ml gel applied directly to the affective area to ease itching and discomfort.
