The sea buckthorn material in BioActive Omega 7 are wild grown. The sea buckthorn berries are of European Union and Western Himalayan region origin.

What is Omega 7 good for?

The omega-7 shell contains carrageen, I heard/read that this is bad for you?
There are 2 types of carrageen and omega-7 uses the type that is declared safe and makes an effective, vegan shell. The other type of carrageenan (poligeenan) is not approved for use and is not found in any of our products.
Can children take omega-7?
The oil itself is perfectly suitable for children, as long as they're of an age where they can safely swallow the capsule. The capsule shell can be opened and the oil inside consumed to make this easier.
Does Omega-7 interact with Thyroxine?
No, there is no existing evidence to suggest that they interact but please check with the doctor if unsure.
Can I continue to take 2 capsules, twice a day after the first two weeks?
Yes. Many customers find they prefer this dose level and would like to maintain it, this poses no problem.
