Support your animal’s natural Defences
Garlic contains many naturally occurring properties shown to be beneficial to livestock and pets. But it also contains compounds that can be toxic to some of them. What’s more, our animals can’t always benefit from one of garlic’s most powerful products.
Have you ever noticed the pungent smell you get when garlic is cut or crushed? It’s the result of an interesting chemical reaction. When garlic cells are damaged, the normally separate enzyme, alliinase, and amino acid, alliin, come into contact to create a volatile sulphur compound called allicin.
Allicin exists as garlic’s natural defence mechanism against microbes in the soil, thanks to its ability to inhibit bacteria and fungi reproduction. Like animals, plants are susceptible to viruses, parasites, and infections, and sometimes require immune support. But the problem is, Allicin is naturally unstable. When exposed to heat and light, it starts to break down, and when it reaches the stomach, it is irreversibly destroyed by the acidic environment. This means your pet or animal cannot fully benefit from allicin’s remarkable properties (in its raw form).
That’s why Allisure®, the key ingredient in AlliTech, was developed. This purified allicin extract is 100% stabilised by a patented process; preserving its structure so animals can benefit from its impressive properties, which are normally lost in the process of cooking, preparation, and digestion.
There has been some very interesting research on Allicin and SuperBugs. You can read some of it here:

An animal-grade formula of your immune-boosting favourite
AlliTech is the first and only Allisure® product on the market available in liquid form, having been specially developed to allow large quantities of stabilised allicin to be directly absorbed into the body so the effects can be felt more quickly and effectively.
AlliTech for animals is a powerful feed supplement containing 100% stabilised Allisure® allicin extract – giving your animals effective support. AlliTech for animals can be used both topically and orally. There’s some interesting research and academic papers looking at allicin and animal health. For more information, read the links below.

Frequently Asked Questions
My vet told me that garlic is poisonous to dogs and cats. Should they be taking AlliTech?
The concern with garlic toxicity in pets arises primarily from compounds such as sodium n-propyl thiosulfate found in whole garlic, which can be harmful to animals. However, AlliTech does not contain this toxic compound, making it safe for use in pets.
My cat had stomach issues after taking AlliTech for animals. What should I do?
Cats often suffer from sensitive stomachs, so we advise giving them small amounts of AlliTech for animals first, and gradually increasing the dose as they become accustomed to it. Always consult your vet first, or if you have any concerns.
Is AlliTech for animals suitable for all?
Yes. AlliTech is suitable for most animals and birds. Some of our customers have given it to apes, bees, and even trees before with good results!
According to a 2014 report, trees in the UK were being treated with garlic extract injections to cure them of deadly diseases. Jonathan Cocking, an arboreal specialist involved in developing and deploying this treatment, stated:
"Over the last four years we have treated 60 trees suffering badly with bleeding canker of horse chestnut. All of the trees were cured. This result has been broadly backed up by 350 trees we have treated all over the country, where we have had a 95% success rate."
The treatment involves injecting an allicin solution directly into a tree's sap system using a pressurised chamber with eight tubes. The needles are positioned to ensure even distribution of allicin throughout the tree. Allicin, the main antibacterial compound in garlic, has shown effectiveness against both bacterial and fungal infections in trees.
