Glucosamine is available in the form of a cream. Bio-Glucosamine + MSM Cream from Pharma Nord contains MSM (methyl sulphonyl methane), a natural substance. Glucosamine MSM cream is formulated to help soothe aching joints and maintain normal joint mobility.
- Bio-Glucosamine + MSM Cream is manufactured to pharmaceutical standards
- Glucosamine sulphate is the most readily incorporated into the joint tissues
- MSM helps to maintain the flexibility of joints
- MSM increases the absorption of glucosamine when applied to the skin
What is Bio-Glucosamine + MSM Cream?
Glucosamine is a naturally occurring molecule, which contributes to collagen formation for normal functioning of bones and cartilage. While glucosamine is produced within the body, levels reduce as we get older.
MSM is a naturally occurring organic sulphur-containing substance (required by the body for normal growth and development), which is vital for the normal formation of bone and collagen in connective tissues.
Glucosamine MSM Cream also contains menthol and Japanese Mint (menthe arvensis) as well as herbal extracts of Butcher’s Broom (Ruscus Aculeates) and Hawaiian white ginger (Hedychium coronarium).
What does Glucosamine cream with MSM do?
Within the body glucosamine forms more complex molecules, which are necessary for the maintenance and repair of cartilage and other connective tissues (ligaments, tendons) in the joints. MSM helps to maintain normal flexibility of joints and arteries. MSM also increases transdermal (skin) absorption of glucosamine.

Preferably with meals.
Relative to the food we eat, the size of individual nutrients are actually incredibly small. As a result, we need to use units other than grammes (g) to describe them. Here’s what the common units for nutrients are:
Grammes (g)- often used to describe nutritional powders. Most teaspoons of powder weigh approximately 5g.
Milligrams (mg)- 1000mg is equal to 1g
Micrograms (mcg or μg)- 1000μg is equal to 1mg
International Units (IU)- Slightly more complex than milligrams (mg) and micrograms (μg), International Units measure differently from nutrient to nutrient. The most common nutrients that are likely to be measured in IU are vitamins D, E and A.
- Vitamin D: 1 IU is the equivalent of 0.025 μg of D2 or D3
- Vitamin A: 1 IU is the equivalent of 0.3 mcg retinol
- Beta-carotene (provitamin A): 1 IU is the equivalent of 0.6 μg of beta carotene
- Vitamin E: 1 IU is the equivalent of 0.67 mg d-alpha-tocopherol
